Cognitive Immunology
Cognitive immunology is an emerging interdisciplinary field that studies the mind’s defense mechanisms against false, manipulative, or harmful ideas—analogous to how the biological immune system protects against pathogens. It seeks to understand and strengthen psychological resilience also called mental immunity to misinformation.
